Ann Coulter - Whew! I'm certainly glad to hear the "snippets" from Rev. Jeremiah Wright's sermons "in context."
In the famous B. Hussein Obama speech that sent a tingle down Chris Matthews' leg, Obama dismissed the clips of Rev. Wright being played on TV as mere "snippets." He claimed the media were highlighting Wright's "most offensive words," complaining that they had been played endlessly, as if repetition were the problem with the statement: "GOD DAMN AMERICA!"

In the wake of Hillary Clinton's rock-solid Pennsylvania victory, David Axelrod, the able chief strategist of Barack Obama's campaign, attempted to minimize the political significance of his candidate's having been overwhelmingly rejected by Pennsylvania's working-class voters: "Let's understand — the white working class has gone to the Republican nominee for many elections. This is not new. Democratic candidates don't rely on these votes."
Whoa! First, to be accurate, Bill Clinton, the only Democratic president since FDR to win re-election, did — narrowly — carry white, working-class voters twice. NYPD sergeant charged with aiding Local drug dealer
In exchange for sneakers and a sweat suit, a New York City police sergeant aided an accused drug dealer check out vehicles the man thought were following him, prosecutors said.
Sgt. Roosevelt Green was arraigned in a federal court Friday on charges of making false statements to investigators and unlawfully using a computer _ a New York Police Department machine he is accused of tapping into to check the license plates of cars the alleged Long Island drug dealer believed were following him.
Green was released on $250,000 bond. He and one of his lawyers, Steven Z. Legon, declined to comment Friday. Green's wife, Sandra, described her husband as "a very good cop" who had left a hospital orderly job to join [ ... More ]
